A little trip to Mexico...

One night Anika was looking through an album of postcards and found a picture of Dad Dick with his marlin he caught in Mexico and the next day my mom posted the rest of these pics on FB! It was so cool that we were enjoying these memories on the same day.
When I was 7 years old I got to Mexico with my family. My grandpa and grandma had a time share condo in Mazatlan. I was in 1st grade and I dont remember being all that excited about the trip but now looking back I cherish the memories. It was almost like a family reunion because there were so many of us that went. Grandpa Phil, Grandma Lou, Aunt Teri, Uncle Roger, Delaine and Rick Oaks, my mom, Dad Dick and I went.

This is my beautiful Grandma Lou relaxing and enjoying the day.

This is my grandpa and I dancing in the red dress he looked all over Mazatlan for.

My mom... love the hair!

This is the marlin that my Dad caught when we went deep sea fishing, I have never been that sea sick before in my life!

This is me posing on the wall that seperated our patio from the beach. It was so awesome.

This is a picture that always makes me cry because I miss my grandpa so much! he taught me how to float on this trip, I was always begging him to go tot he pool!

Aunt Teri in the kitchen.

Rick and Delaine checking out this crazy girl drinking her virgin daquari. I thought I was so cool!

I was trying to hit the pinata but I dont think I broke it!

My sweet friend Mandy...

came over to visit for few minutes tonight and as some of you may know, we had a bunch of snow and I am so strict about the snow in MY driveway. Well, Mandy didn't know and she pulled into the second class citizen driveway (KIDDING). It is just where Clint parks his work trucks, and I use the other driveway because it leads to the garage! So naturally I like all of the snow on MY side cleared. My dear sweet husband knows this and works very hard to keep it clean. Tonight it looks so awesome! Anyway, my dear friend Mandy got a little stuck in her cute PT cruiser tonight and I thought I would share some pictures. Clint was so mad though because when we went to push her out, I had to run back inside and grab the camera. It was kind of funny though because Mandy and I were laughing! WE did get her out after pushing her back into the driveway and then she just gunned it out of the drive! Hopefully she made it home safely!

Zoology...

We went to the zoo with Jen,Robbie,Justin and Anya on Sunday. I became friends with them when I lived in evanston and since I moved back to Vernal, I haven't seen them but once! Jen and I talked all the time on yahoo but never could get together. WEll we finally decided to meet and catch up and let the kids see each other. Wouldn't you know it as soon as they saaw each other they were just like best friends again. How cool is that! Now we have promised to keep in better touch and see each other more often! Love ya Fladland family! I'll add more pics tomorrow! The above pic is with a Bald Eagle at the zoo! It was amazing how huge it was! It was so neat to see it up close!

Mr. and Mrs.

Mandy tagged me and I am kinda excited about this one!

How did we meet: Clint and I actually met at Club XS. He was with a bunch of his friends and I was with one of mine. He came up and said that his friends didn't think he could get us "hot" girls to dance with him. What a pick up line huh? Well we danced together and he got more drunk. I was so surprised he could still walk at the end of the night. When we were leavign he asked if he could "steal a kiss." I said no and left because I had to work at 6 AM the next morning. (Gotta love wal-mart hours right?) He ended up showing up to walmart the next day and asked if he could see me when I got off that evening. He came over to my house and we hung out with my kids and have been together ever since.

Where did you go on your first date: Cobble Rock restaurant and let me tell you it was the first and last time I have ever eaten there! I thought it was so gross!

How long have you been together? Been together almost 3 years, married 2 1/2.

Who said ‘I love you’ first? When he was off for his 2 weeks, he would go back to Richfield to see his daughter and he would always say, I want to kiss you lots. And one night he said that I should substitute I love you for those words. I thought it was really cute and I told him I wanted to kiss him lots too.

Who is taller: Clint, but not by much! On a good hair day, I am so taller than him. He is 5'10 and I am 5'8

Who sings better: He knows more music than I do but I think I can sing better.

Who is smarter: I am of course, he isn't even computer literate.

Who does the laundry: Me. Just kidding we both do.

Who does the dishes: Me. Just kidding our whole family does.

Who sleeps on the right side of the bed: I do.

Who pays the bills: I do as he would be shocked if he knew how much money we spent!

Who mows the lawn: He does or Riley does when he is home.

Who cooks dinner: Me. He can only cook macaroni and cheese!

Who drives when you are together: If it is in a big city I drive, other than that Clint drives.

Who is more stubborn: 100%, no doubt about it, ME!

Who kissed who first: We both just kissed each other lots!

Who is more sensitive: ME! I so wear all of my emotions on my sleeve and get my feelings hurt really easily.

Who proposed: Clint, and I was totally surprised! We went to dinner with my parents for his birthday and he got down on one knee in the middle of Win-on and made me bawl like a little baby!

Who has more siblings: He does, I am a spoiled only child.

Who wears the pants: I do of course. Have you met me? LOL!

Our latest purchase....FUN!

Today our friends Ryan and Amanda came over from Neola and we were planning on going to the rec center to swim, but our plans got changed for us. When we arrived at the rec center there was an ambulance and cops all over the place. Apparently someone had fallen off the diving bored and gotten hurt and also a child had an "accident" in the pool so they closed it down until the 5:30 session. So we headed back to our house to hang for a while and decide what else we could do. I had an idea just sitting on our back lawn but didn't know if they would mind helping us. They didn't mind and we all got busy putting together our new trampoline! Clint and I decided to buy one this morning because of the fenced in yard we now have! I think I am more excited about it than the kids are. Riley called us tonight and when I told him he was so stoked! It is so cool to do things for our kids that they enjoy and appreciate so much!

Amanda and I on the tramp with the kids....

Dusty, Wyatt and Anika jumping....

Amanda, Reagan, and Heber....

Oh what fun they all had...

And then of course we went to the Rec Center to swim. More fun for our family!

Fish Lake

These pictures are from our trip home last weekend and we stopped at Fish Lake to get a drink. I had never been there but CLint has always wanted to take me there so we visited this cool place. I can't believe how long ago the lodge was built. I think this would be an awesome place to stay. Have you visited here?
