Halloween party

Anika had a Halloween party tonight for girl scouts and she wanted to wear her costume! I think she looks so cute as Hannah Montana. Debra's daughter Timberlyn is in the same troop so she came with us. She was dressed up as a Wicked Frisky Witch! I loved her purple hair!

Wordless Wednesday 10.29.08

These windmills are in Spanish Fork Canyon and I thought they were neat! I have only seen them this close in Wyoming. I had a 15 minute conversation with my 7 yo and 4 yo explaining how they work and why they need them. I should have just taken the picture and left it at that!

Check this out....

Momdot is hosting a Blog Party and Christmas of Dreams... go visit and learn how to win...Yours truly will be donating a prize to win!

The blog party will run from Nov 12-27th and will include some fabulous sponsors and fabulous prizes. We want to bring you to new blogs, participate in a few around the blogosphere games and topics, and highlight some online boutiques. Just meet up here every day during the blog party time to sign our Mr. Linky and we will be giving you lots of blogs to go to, lots of people to party with, and lots of prizes to win! By making it around the blogosphere to participating partying members, you will be exposed to new blogs, let people ‘meet’ you, and earn entries into our giveaways during that time. Only participating members of the Blog Party will be eligible for Blog Party prizes and we will do a mass draw at the end for everything we have and announce all the winners at once on Nov 27th.

But at the end of the Blog Party, ON Nov 28th, we will be celebrating a Christmas of Dreams, where one person will walk away with an entire gaggle of items from sponsors like DYSON, Mutsy, and More! If you are a mom or a business that would like to be a part of our Blog Party or Christmas of Dreams, there is still time. Please email me directly at MomDot@live.com to secure your spot.

Duke the dog

It has been getting pretty cold here at night and I feel bad for Duke but not bad enough for him to become a house dog! SO I bought him a new pillow and a new sweater! I secretly knew he would look dashing in his sweater but also knew that if he wore it for more than an hour, I'd be very surprised! Well here are the pics of him and the sweater! He wore it for a while and then took it off just like I knew he would. He is getting so big and he is such a great dog.

Carving pumpkins.....

My Dad and step mom grew these pumpkins in their garden this year and we got them carved the other night! I lit them tonight and took more pics of them to post on here! I love carving pumpkins but I wish there was a quicker way to get the guts out!

Oh my heck!

This is great... You need to watch it all!

New Layout

Ok so Mandy did my new layout for Fall and I love it! We were chatting about a new saying for my header and I decided to have a contest to come up with a new saying. I want it to reflect the holidays, as I will be changing my layout again after Thanksgiving! You can email me or leave your suggestions in the comments section and after Halloween, I will put the top 5 in a poll here on the blog and the winning saying will receive a prize! Go put on your thinking caps and come up with something funny for our blog!

Wordless Wednesday 10.23.08

Trisha @ momdot says......

While reaching 100K people is awesome, if not nearly an impossible feat when we started out on this journey, it definitely was not something that we here at MomDot did alone, by any means. I couldn’t possibly start thanking every person individually, because there isn’t even enough time in the day, and I hope I have said thank you to those along the way as they gave up their time, their blog space, their advice, and their creativity.

We have written 825 Posts total on momdot from our preopening till now.

However, I did want to do a few things.

Thank you to those in the beginning that really helped set UP MomDot and get us off the ground. Some of these girls didn’t even know who I was, just some random person on the net, and they still gave up something. No particular order!

Got wood?

Sunday morning started with a trip to 7-11 to pick up a pumpkin spice latte. I am now addicted to them...Then a trip to my Dad's to drop off the girls and head up the mountain to get wood for the winter. The rest of my family had already gotten theirs but we slacked so they came to help us! So Dad, Clint, Grandpa Ted, Uncle Mike, Riley and I were off like a terd of hurtles...Sorry bad joke.

This is my little man helping me mark wood...

This is the only proof that I was there as I was taking all of the pictures!

Here is my Dad the hero! He is so awesome and he and my step mom are such awesome people! They help us out all the time and we appreciate them so much.

This is my Grandpa Ted who helped supervise this whole operation!

Here is Riley again this time with an ax! Look out world!

Here is my Uncle Mike the tree faller downer...Don't know what else to call it...LMAO!

We had a fun time and got a lot of wood and now we have a toasty warm fire which is so nice! Thanks so much to all who helped us!
