Well after lots and lots of hours of work, Uncle Monte and Dad Dick got our bathroom done. We even got a ceiling fan in and it is so nice! It was a pain to install but its done now! Dad said that we should never go into the attic if we can avoid it! Ha ha!

I am so excited to see how it looks when its all said and done with new paint and towels and such! I know I'm a geek but its so cool! And I love my new flip video camera for uploading videos!

When we bought our house, I loved it and I was so excited to finally have 2 bathrooms. One thing I didn't foresee was the challenge that would come with our upstairs bathroom. It has a BIG window, and its not in the best place if you know what I mean. We have a pretty big tree in the backyard so it isn't like the neighbors can see right in but still its kind of creepy. Also the window track always got water in it from a strange shower head placement, and I could clean it every day and it still got mildew. Clint and I had moved downstairs to that bathroom and so the kids and guests used the upstairs bathroom. I have said several times that I would love to put in a smaller window and re tile that bathroom. Just a pipe dream, something to do in the future right? About 2 weeks ago my Uncle Monte called and asked if we would like to re tile our bathroom when he came up the last part of August. I was totally psyched but Clint was like oh man I don't know. So of course we are doing it! We put a pencil to it and we knew it wouldn't be too expensive and Uncle Monte was bringing his expertise to go along! So after a fun weekend visiting in Ft. Bridger, Dad and Monte came down to stay and remodel the bathroom. They came down yesterday (which happened to be my birthday) and we went to pick out the tile and needed supplies. Today they got started and this is how our bathroom looked last night.

I remember how upset and sad I was that Liberty was turning one because it was my last baby's first birthday.

I can't believe my baby turns one year old today! She is such a pill. Here are a few (ok a LOT) of pictures from her photoshoot. I had bought this darling swimsuit just for these pictures and I had ordered her a special 4th outfit from Fairies in the Attic. I loved the way her outfit turned out! Liberty is almost standing up on her own, she walks "around" everything now and she is such a crawler. That's all she wanted to do during this shoot. She doesn't say too much but she lets us all know what shes thinking. She has said Dada a few times and I'm working on getting her to say Mama every day. She makes me so full of joy and sadness at the same time because she is our last child. I have often found myself getting sad about her "last" firsts!

Trip to Richfield

We recently went to Richfield for a quick visit. It was our first trip in our new truck and we had a lot of fun besides getting car (or truck) sick in Indian Canyon. I guess its just the truck being a lot higher off the ground than my durango. Saturday Jill, Brandon, Garrett and Sierra met us and we took a drive to Fremont Indian State park and did a couple of hikes and a visit to the museum. It was fun and a nice little historical trip. Then we went to Hoovers to eat. They always have good food. Sunday we just hung out and visited some friends in town, and then Monday before we came home, we took a four wheeler tide to Saul's meadow. That is always a pretty ride no matter the time of year.

Well I'm playing catch up so I will just tell you about whats happening in our lives now. Riley, Anika and Shae are out of school. Riley has been playing soccer and Anika is playing softball for the 3rd year. Riley's team hasn't won a game all season but they are playing well together. Riley plays defender and he even scored a goal, too bad it was for the other team. Every kids does that at some point in the season! Anika has improved a lot since last season and is quite the hitter. Clint and I have been helping coach her team this year and its been a lot of fun. We have won some games and lost some, tournament is about to start and she also tried out for All Stars but didn't make it.
Heber finished up her preschool year and is excited to go back to school next year. She is taking the 3 year old class again because of her birthday being late she wont start school until she is 6 yrs old.
Liberty is almost 11 months old and has 4 teeth now. She is standing up and soon she will be walking. Its amazing how time flies.
Clint's job is going good and I am back to work too. I am working at DC Welding and I work 4 days a week, from 9-3. I love it and it keeps me busy!

A little trip to Mexico...

One night Anika was looking through an album of postcards and found a picture of Dad Dick with his marlin he caught in Mexico and the next day my mom posted the rest of these pics on FB! It was so cool that we were enjoying these memories on the same day.
When I was 7 years old I got to Mexico with my family. My grandpa and grandma had a time share condo in Mazatlan. I was in 1st grade and I dont remember being all that excited about the trip but now looking back I cherish the memories. It was almost like a family reunion because there were so many of us that went. Grandpa Phil, Grandma Lou, Aunt Teri, Uncle Roger, Delaine and Rick Oaks, my mom, Dad Dick and I went.

We have to forget this day was the last day I blogged and then maybe just maybe you will all forgive me. Oh wait I dont have thousands of followers or even hundreds but I like to pretend Im writing to an audience! HUMOR ME people! Ha ha! So Im not gonna give you some lame excuse about me not blogging I just havent done it, and I know I should have but oh well. For the next week or so prepare to be bombarded with events that have happened in the last 7 months. And yes I will be changing my template to not look like AUTUMN but Im really just early for this fall! HA HA!

Ever since I met Clint, he had told me of the Mystic Hot Springs down In Monroe. Apparently he frequented there while he was living in Richfield. So we went there the last time we were down. We left Heber and Liberty at my in laws and Let me just Say they must have been something back in the day because I wasn't impressed but it was something Clint wanted to show us. I guess things must have looked better in a drug induced haze right? LMAO! Anyway here are some pictures. The kids thought it was very very cool that the water came out of the ground that HOT!

We took a drive up to Fish Lake while in Richfield and holy cow the leaves were so beautiful. We stopped at Twin Creek to have a picnic and let the kids play. They had a blast and I got some cute pictures!

Kim Lavina and I decided to do a booth at the Taste of Home Cooking School. It was a lot of fun but Kim didn't make it to the show because she had a minor flood that turned out to be MAJOR in her kitchen...We had a blast and met a lot of new people. We did a drawing for the elusive and sold out Jack o Lantern warmer...this warmer was so popular that Scentsy sold over 30,000 before the end of the month! Now that's a lot of pumpkins!

Here are some awesome pics from our trip to Denver and the awesome Broncos game! WE bought the tickets from the benefit for our dear friend Kevin Campbell. Some friends bought the other 2 tickets but couldn't go at the last minute so Clint's sister and dad went with us. We had an awesome time! Clint and I had never been and we had such a great time. They played the Arizona Cardinals and won 19-0. It was very nice to get away for a day with no kids! I already want to go back and watch another game!

First day of ScHool

Yesterday was the first day of school and holy cow was I nervous. I know that sounds dumb but I was very worried about Riley going into middle school. 6th grade can be tough cuz you go from one teacher all day long to seven in one day! When he came home he was beaming he had so much fun and got to catch up with a lot of friends.I'm not sure that he has realized there are no recesses yet though!
Anika also had a good day and likes her teacher. I can't believe she is in the 3rd grade already...time flies so fast.
Brashae started kindergarten this year and I can't wait for her to come up here tomorrow night and tell us all about it.
Heber is always saying how she is getting bigger and going to start kindergarten and preschool. It is so funny and she tells anyone who will listen! All in all I was worrying for nothing as usual!

Since Clint did so well watching the kids while I was at the Scentsy convention, I rewarded him with a new puppy. We saw a cute puppy at the Anadarko summer party two weeks ago and they told us that he had brothers and sisters at the pound. We went to look and put in an application and fell in love with this little blue/white lab/boxer mix. He was adorable. Our application was approved but we didn't want to pick him up and have Clint have to deal with a new puppy and all 5 kids. I kind of led him on and said he couldn't get the dog lol. I was planning on getting the dog when I came back from Salt Lake and we went right down there this morning to pick him up. When we went down though we found out the dog had been mis-sexed (is that a word?) and he was really a she. Talk about confusing. We wanted her anyway so we got her and now just need to come up with a name. I think we should name her vodka Collins after a special drink I had on my trip but Clint doesn't agree. So if you have any suggestions please let me know! I will add a picture soon!

I haven't posted in quite a while but here are a few updates!
Liberty is almost 6 weeks old! I can't believe it! Each day she grows and changes a little more. I recently went to Scentsy convention in Salt Lake for 3 days and then went school clothes shopping before coming home. Clint stayed home with all the kids and let me tell you he did WONDERFUL! He didn't call me one time to ask for help with a problem or to complain. I am so very lucky to have this man. He has been wanting a new dog for quite a long time and as his reward he is getting one tomorrow morning! I will post pics later of the dog.
Now about Scentsy convention.... As some of you may know, they are discontinuing quite a few scents and EVERYTHING is 10% off this month! If you need more information please leave me a comment. Now on to convention... they unveiled SO many new and wonderful things including new and returning scents as well as wonderfuland exciting new products. I can't share them with you until September 1st, but I will tell you that you should book your parties now to get the new stuff for FREE! I was inspired by my wonderful company and can't wait to expand my team and spread the world of Scentsy!

Anika is starting 3rd grade and is going back to Discovery. I can't wait to find out who her teacher is and if she has any of her friends in her class.
Riley is starting the 6th grade and it is bittersweet for me. I'm glad he is growing up and becoming such an awesome boy but I'm also sad because he is the oldest and he is growing up so fast!
Brashae starts kindergarten this year and Im excited to see how she adjusts to school and that environment. I hope she isn't too stubborn to listen to her teacher! Heber is growing leaps and bounds and her vocabulary is expanding every day. I can't believe she turns 3 in a little over a month.
As I mentioned before, Liberty is almost 6 weeks old and is smiling and cooing when talked to. She is such a blessing in our lives as are all of our children, but as she is our last, I can't help but think she is a little more special! Im not favoring her just treasuring her milestones one by one.
I have set a goal to be more organized in my life and am looking forward to accomplishing it. I have 2 problem areas that I am tackling this week before school starts so I can be a better example for my kids. Clint has also set a goal and is tackling that as well (more info to come on that as he progresses.)

More Liberty

Its hard to believe shes already a week old! Its gone by so fast. Everyone keeps telling me to take it easy but I haven't ever had an easier birth. The only thing that has been bothering me is my incision, but even the bruises are fading and I'm not so sore. Pretty soon I'll be completely back to normal. My in laws came to visit last Thursday and we had an awesome visit. Jerry and Clint fixed our air conditioner and I couldn't be happier, and Carol noticed that Duke had an infection in his ear so we took him into the vet and got him some medication! WE also had a good dinner at Don Pedro's and just hung out and caught up. WE are headed down to see them this Friday and maybe go up the mountain. Saturday evening we took the little girls up the mountain to see the big kids and grandma and grandpa. We took a couple of short wheeler rides and had a nice dinner. I think my parents are really going to enjoy their new camper and the toys that go with it. Liberty is doing so well, she has even slept through the night 3 times this past week. She is a very easy going baby. Here are some random pics.

Our new Arrival

On Friday night I was having pretty steady contractions and they lasted most of the night, so we had my Mom come and stay with the girls while we went to the hospital. That was at midnight and we were sent home about 1:30 saying I was only dilated to a 3 and not effaced very much. We were so bummed out we went right to bed. I woke up at 5 AM with even harder contractions and had Clint start timing them. They were lasting about a minute with 2-3 minutes in between. We decided we should get back to the hospital. They looked at us like we were crazy but I told them how much pain I was in and they decided to stick me in a tiny room and check me anyways. I think they thought I really was crazy! Well after checking me they said I would be admitted as I had made a lot of progress in those few hours. We were so excited, we called my mom and Carm and told them I would be having the baby that day. Dad, Carm and Anika were up on the mountain so they started getting ready to come down. Meanwhile I kept telling the nurse how uncomfortable I was and how I wanted my epidural as soon as I could. I was sweating so bad and they told me I couldn't even have ice chips until they got me into a birthing room! I couldn't even keep still enough to keep the monitors on. I was in so much pain I had to get up and walk around. I know the nurse thought I was crazy at this point. I had her check me again because I felt like I needed to push (still in the closet room mind you) and she did check me and she said the baby's head was right there! She and Clint hurried to wheel me into a birthing room and all I remember saying was please don't let me have my baby in the hall! After getting into the birthing room, the nurses were getting everything set up for Dr B who was on his way to the hospital. All of a sudden I knew I needed to push but they kept telling me to save my energy for the right time. When the nurse checked me again, my baby was crowning, and I had to push! All in all, I had my baby right on the bed with 2 startled nurses and a worried husband! She came out crying and she looked beautiful. I know Liberty surprised the nurses, it was kind of comical looking back now. Then the doc came in and checked us both out and said we looked fine. I had a few visitors that morning Amanda, Mom, Heber, Shae, Aunt Tee and Uncle Roger all came to see Liberty! We were so excited that our baby was still here. Carm called a few minutes later and we had to explain to her how fast Liberty made her entrance.
I was scheduled for surgery to get my tubes tied at noon so I had a couple of hours to relax before heading in. I have never had any type of surgery so I was a nervous wreck and all I could think about while lying their waiting to be knocked otu was all the bad things that could happen. None of them did though and I made it just fine. I guess a few more people had come to see the baby while I was in surgery and I had a room full of people when they wheeled me back in my room at 2 PM. Liberty has been home since Sunday night and she couldn't be a better baby! She hardly ever cries and if she does it is always a soft cry. I hope you enjoy these pictures!

Doctor Appt update!

I went to the doctor today and was hoping for some better news than he gave me but oh well. I wanted him to say lets go to the hospital and have this baby! I hadn't dilated as much as I wanted but the doctor did strip my membranes and sent me home. He said he may see me in the delivery room by tomorrow! I would be so excited! Just wanted to let you all know! Have a wonderful day!

Yesterday my family threw me a little baby shower. It was so much fun even though we didn't have many people attend. We played some fun games that Leslie made and had some wonderful food and fun decor from my mom and Aunt Teri. I got some wonderful blankets that I will cherish and can't wait to use! Enjoy the pix!

My mom won the Don't forget about Daddy quiz. It was a bunch of questions about Clint and what he said when he found out we were expecting. My favorite questions on there were the ones about what he wanted the baby to get from me and from himself. He wants the baby to have my smarts and his sense of humor! My husband is heart broken as his best friend Duke has a new friend Delilah. She is the cutest dog and she lives next door but gets out quite often and comes to visit. Otherwise you will see them both visiting through the fence. Two times in just the last three days she has broken out and come to play with Duke. We don't mind but I think the neighbors don't like her digging out of their yard. I think its payback for when my mom's dog Chamois would dig under the fence to go see them! LOL!Delilah is a mix of pit bull and bull dog and we would love to have a dog like her if only the neighbors would give her up!

I am so glad that baseball and softball seasons are over. I enjoyed them but am also glad they are over. Riley's team ended up taking second place,and Anika's 3rd place. They both had wonderful coaches this year! I am not working anymore and the doctor said that is a good thing! I went in for a check up on Wednesday and he said I was dilated to a 2 but not effacing. He said it could be that I went into labor that night or within a week. Darn him he wouldn't pinpoint it for me! LOL! I'm just glad he is back in town to deliver my baby. After he said that I was so excited that I started tackling all my little to do's around the house. So far, we have replaced the screen door handle, washed all the outside windows, painted my flower Amanda gave me, and stained my front door. I cleaned my house from top to bottom and right now you can't even tell! That is so frustrating! I also have started to make my birth announcements. Mandy came up with a very cute card and I am going to copy her! I hope they turn out as cute as her card! Tomorrow is my baby shower and I am starting to stress a little bit as I realize all the things I don't have! I would love to rush right out and buy the things I'm wanting but Clint keeps telling me to hold off for a couple more days! He is so smart! Haha. Anyway, as for right now I am just taking it easy and playing around. I'm going to spend one day this weekend just cooking dinners to freeze and would love any suggestions you may have! I also have been uploading a ton of pictures on Face book from when my kids were younger...go here to see them! I'm not sure if our girls are wussies or what, because Clint and I both lived on our trampolines when we grew up, and our girls are so afraid of sleeping on it. I can remember sleeping out on Kristen's tramp and she on ours many many times, and Clint says he practically stayed every night on theirs growing up too. Well the girls finally got brave enough to try it out Friday night. We were supposed to have gone up the mountain camping but the rain ruined those plans. I think they had fun anyways!

I don't know if many of you know Clint all that well but he is my rock! He is always letting me go and do stuff and staying home with the kids. I so appreciate him and have been wanting him to go have more guy time doing what he wants to. A couple of months ago he started talking about talking some MMA (Mixed martial arts) classes. After calling to get information he found out that he could take a free class to find out if he really liked it or not. Turns out he loves it! He has been going to the class for about 2 1/2 months now and is always so excited to tell me about it. He isn't interested in doing the cage fighting right now (and to tell you the truth Im not sure how I would handle that) but he loves to spar with the others in the class. One night he came home telling me about how this guy had kicked him in the leg and it was pretty sore... I didn't think much of it until he was like Hey babe check out my bruise. So of course I had to take a picture and here it is! Sorry about the underwear shot but its the only thing you can see the bruise in!

It was sore for about a week before it healed up but he has also given out some injuries like splitting a guys lip open, and making guys tap out. Anyway he is now going to take a couple of months off and hit the gym again with me after the baby comes and we will see what kind of shape we can get back in!

I cannot believe it has been so long since I blogged! I have a lot of posts so sorry! First of was the girls' birthday party. We usually have a double party since the girls' birthdays are only 8 days apart and this year was no exception. Anika did have some friends over though and they all had a blast! I sure can't believe Anika is 8 and Brashae is 5! A good time was had by all and as always the girls got spoiled rotten, well ok just spoiled! We sure love our girls and can't wait until Heber's birthday now. She hasn't stopped talking about it even though its like 3 months away! I hope she iwll still be excited about it when it does get here..Enjoy the pics!

who isn't so little anymore. First off I can't believe that I only have 37 days left! OMG I am SOOOO not ready for this baby! I don't have the crib put up, any of her clothes washed, etc. Anyways, in light of this baby coming, Clint and I have both been going through all of Heber's pictures on the computer of when she was first born! Life in General

Hi everyone... Just a quick note to fill you all in! We have been so busy! Riley and Anika are ready to be out of school and I am ready to have this baby! I start going to the doctor every week next wedneday and we can't wait to get her here! Anika has been invited to perticipate in the 2nd grade spelling bee at her school. She is very excited and we hope she does her best! Riley will be spending the month of June at his dad's and we will miss him a lot but he will have fun over there! Softball is almost over but Anika wants to try out for All Stars and we wish her the best of luck. Baseball goes through the June so we are far from done there. Work is busy buys for both Clint and I. I have been cut down to 28 hours a week and Clint's schedule has changed but other than that work is great! We are so grateful for our jobs that we won't complain. The economy will pick back up soon and things will be back to normal. Hope everything is going great in your lives!

Well I would like to say that not alot has been going on in our lives, but the truth is I have just been lazy! We traveled to Colorado Springs on Thursday to see one of our favorite comedians, Jeff Dunham. He is a ventriloquist and he totally rocks! If you haven't seen him, you must have been in a hole somewhere.LOL! Our trip started out to be an anniversary trip for Clint and I but then we decided to extend it and see a bunch of family while we were there. We left that morning and my step-dad went with us to help with kids. The concert was AWESOME and hilarious. My favorite part had to be when the guitar guy sung his song about OCTO-MOM! Even he knows how crazy she is! Friday we visited with my dad's 2 brothers that live there and we had a wonderful visit with the families. Saturday morning we drove to Loveland to visit Clint's sister and her family. We haven't seen them in over 3 years and they had never met Heber so we knew this was the perfect time to see them. We had great food and another wonderful visit. When we left on Monday morning, no one wanted to be in the car and I do have to say that was the only downfall to our trip. I was very glad to get home and sleep in my own bed.
I had to hurry and study for my mortgage test that I took today but our baseball and softball schedules were not allowing it. My test was at 8 AM this morning and so the kids went to stay at grandma and grandpas for the night, so they could still get to school and the babysitters house! I woke up at 4:15 to get ready and leave by 5:15. I stayed up studying all night and even tape recorded some more stuff to listen to on the way and it must have helped because I passed! I was so excited and relieved when the test center manager told me I passed! Now I just have to have a background check done and wait for them to mail me my license! WOOT WOOT! So if you need a loan you can now come to me! I can't wait!

Riley's Choice

Yesterday Riley got baptized! He has been taking the missionary lessons, and I am so proud of his decision to take this step. Riley's dad Brandon baptized him and it was very special to the 2 of them. You should have seen ALL the people there! Our families are HUGE! I am so glad that every one was there from all of sides of his family! It meant a lot to Clint and I and also to Riley. My in laws came from Richfield, my sis and brother in law came up from Cedar City and we just had a wonderful time! It was a lot of fun to have 7 more people and 2 more dogs at our house, we don't get to do that too often!

Riley's First Game!

Riley has his first baseball game of the season yesterday! He is playing for the Diamondbacks and they look to be a pretty good team this year! At the scrimmage game on Thursday they boys got their uniforms. Riley of course chose number 3 which he has had every year since he started playing. I guess there was some confusion when ordering shirts and the coaches wanted him to take a shirt that didn't really fit him, but Clint stood up for Riley and said he has the number he wants and it fits him so he needs to keep it. Problem Solved. Or so we thought! Walking to the field on Saturday morning, I saw a kid in the number 3 uniform on the field that WAS NOT my son. I went into the dugout to say hello to Riley and wish him luck and asked him what happened with the uniform. He didn't want to tell me but finally did tell me that the coach made him trade but the number 6 uniform didn't really fit him, it was way too short. SO I promptly got mad. I walked out of the dugout and asked Camille (Riley's step mom) if she knew what had happened with the shirt situation. She was sitting by both of the coaches wives and they said that the coaches rounded up all the shirts and matched the sizes we had ordered to the boys and assigned numbers that way. YEAH RIGHT! I was so mad because I felt like Riley had been taken advantage of, and if you thought I was mad, you should have seen my husband! He was all cussing and giving me attitude. I could see his point but I wasn't going to make a big deal about it at that time. Anyways, the boys played well and we ended up winning 3-2. I hurried to the car since we had a bunch of family there and I wasn't going to make Riley embarrassed by making a scene. I was hoping Clint would feel the same way, and thank heavens he did. I guess it will all roll around right, or we can go have another jersey made that has his name on it. We didn't want to say something to the coaches and have them punish Riley for it. Anyways, I am off that soap box! I am glad Riley had fun, and I can't wait to see him improve this season as he has in the past! GO DIAMONDBACKS!

Anika was so excited to play softball again this year! She has been practicing every free minute she has had. She was very excited when she found out she has 2 good friends on the same team and their mom's are the coaches! She is playing for Champion Technologies this year and their uniforms are pink and white. What little girl doesn't want pink and white uniforms? We had 2 games on Wednesday and we won both! I was so proud of Anika, she ran fast and hit the ball every time she was up! I can't wait to see how she progresses this year!

Girls Trip

When my Grandma Lou turned 75, we decided to plan a girls trip. We decided to go down to Zion National Park and just hang out in southern Utah for a few days. My Grandma Lou, Aunt Teri, my cousin Leslie and my grandma's friend La Rue were the only ones that could go but we had a blast! Out trip started out going to Salt Lake to drop off a car and then down to Springdale Utah. Our hotel was right outside of the Zion National Park and even the views from our hotel window were AWESOME! On Saturday there were chances of rain so we decided to drive into St George and do some shopping and head into Mesquite to do a little bit of gambling. It was fun! Then Sunday morning we decided to drive through Zion before coming home to our families. All in all it was a great trip and I can't wait to do it again!

Easter Weekend!

First off sorry for ALL of these pictures, but I couldn't decide which ones to not post so I posted them all. These are from our Spring Break and Easter weekend. Thursday night Clint and the girls went to pick up Brashae in Price and when they got home we all watched Marley and Me. I have never ever cried so much at a movie before. I loved it though and have since bought the tear jerker!
Friday we just hung out and went grocery shopping and delivered some orders. I was very glad I had the day off of work. Friday evening my mom came over and we dyed eggs. We had one adult for every girl to dye eggs with and that is why there aren't many pictures.
Saturday morning we woke up to dreary clouds and got ready to go to the egg hunts in town. Brashae had a cough and so we didn't want to get any sicker, so we just hunted at the Museum with my dad and stepmom. It is a very fun hunt for the kids and I love it because it isn't all pandemonium and chaos. Then after that, we went up town town and goofed off some more. Saturday evening we all went to my Aunt Teri's house for dinner with my grandma. We had a good time and bowled on the wii some. Again I have no pictures except for one. I am a slacker.
Sunday we got up and Brashae stil wasn't feeling great so Anika went to church but the rest of us stayed home. Then Clint called about noon and said he would be home around one so we could all go to the family dinner at Grandma Donna's. I was very excited. We had a nice family dinner and a fun egg hunt, then we drove back to Price with Brashae and had a nice time.
Monday came and I had to work but the girls had a fun time at Sherry's and even got some sun! I hope your weekend was just as nice.

My husband is a major scrooge! He never likes me to decorate for ANY holiday and since I love to decorate for the holidays, we always argue about this! I think it is funny because now my 11 year old is on my back about it also! Today I went to the dollar store and bought a dozen plastic eggs for my tree and all I heard from my DS was "Dad is going to be so mad when he sees you put this stuff up!" SO when DH called to say he was on his way home, of course I got told on! You should have heard my husband and his remarks about it. I just gave it right back to him and said well you didn't have to do it or haul out the stuff to get it done, so get bent! LMAO! I mean it isn't like I have decorated the whole house, it's just a couple of sets of letters, and a tree and some eggs. Would your husband go nuts over this??

Well it is staying up even if he doesn't like it!

So today was the pickup day for Girl Scout Cookies. Man those leaders are organized! I wouldn't do that job for ANYTHING! Those dear dear women must have the patience of Job! Anika sold almost 800 boxes of cookies! I am so proud of her! Now comes the hard part, delivering and gathering money! If you didn't get to order them from a girl scout and still want some, our troops cookie booth will be March 21st at the Vernal Maverick! Please come and support our troop! Ice Ice Baby

I forgot we took these pictures, so I just came across them and figured I had better post them. These are actually the ones Riley took with his new camera! About 3 weeks ago, Clint had noticed these HUGE sheets of about 4 inch thick ice hanging off our rook in the backyard and tried to chip at them with the shovel. They wouldn't budge and the crap was so thick that he had a very hard time getting any off. He told us to stay out of the backyard as much as possible until it broke off. Well on a Monday night, we were sitting in the front room and we all heard this Horrendous noise outside. Clint and I looked at each other and he said "the ice." Like this sort of thing happened every day at our house! So we went outside and saw the damage.

This was the biggest chunk that had fallen off the roof right on to our BBQ grill. We are so lucky it didn't break the handle!

These are the internet and I assume phone lines that it took out. I didn't care about the phone cuz we only have cell phones anyway, and our computer had accidentally *cough Clint and Riley*Cough* downloaded a HUGE nasty virus hte previous day, so internet kind of didn't matter either. Thank heavens no one was hurt. The rest of these pictures were just of our backyard and the rest of the snow on the other part of the roof!

So snow+ice on a metal roof can = big ice!

I agree, this weeks topic is EASY PEASY! This weeks topic is 6 things that never fail to make you smile!

1. My children's laughter! (who doesn't love this? We should all have to add another but I am not! haha.

2. The sight of my husband walking in the door when I have had a particularly BAD day! All he has to say is "Hi babe!" and I grin from ear to ear!

3. When my kids wrap their grubby arms around me and say those magic words, "You are the best mom EVER!" Oh yeah, makes me want to cry.

4. New born babies always make me smile. They always remind me of the first time I held my little ones in my arms, and got to welcome them to the world. I am NOT crying... there must be something in my eyes!

5. When you have 5 minutes totally to yourself, and can think Oh yeah I am the best mom ever! Everyone needs time to themselves...

6. I have to agree with Karen on Momdot this one, I secretly get a kick out of my husband losing his temper!

Ok so I am pregnant! Yeah so?? That really shouldn't account for these GOSH Awful mood swings, emotional crying jags, and all this other overwhelming stuff I have been feeling. I didn't have this with any of the other 3 kids, so why now on my last little angel? I seriously have been crying at anything and everything (even wheel of fortune). How lame is that? Anyone have ideas on how to cope and survive in this so called life of mine??

How many more months of this do i get to ENJOY?? I thought it was blues clues not pregnancy blues.

Riley's Birthday party

Today Riley had 5 boys over for a belated birthday party. It was supposed to be from 2-5 PM, but a couple of the boys had to ride the bus home with him, so the party started earlier than I had planned! Oh well, you gotta roll with the times right? Riley wanted a pokemon theme and so everything was pokemon. I had the bakery make him a pokemon cake with some cool characters on it, and we had pokemon trading cards all the boys got and oh what fun they had. Riley wanted two friends to spend the night, but only one could make it. They went to the movies and saw Mall Cop, while Anika, Mandy, Tara and I went to see Confessions of a shopaholic. I think a good time was had by all! I cannot believe that my boy is 11 now!

Don't know if you can read those but yeah we are having a girl! Ok Robin I think I will take you up on your offer! LOL! Actually Clint and I both took it better than I thought we would. I think in the back of our minds was always this feeling that we were destined to have another girl! It actually makes things ALOT easier as we don't have to move any of the kids' rooms around now! Anika and even RILEY are happy about that fact! Anyways, she is supposed to make her appearance right around the 4th of July! At least I don't have to go all the way through the summer! Anyways, other than that no more important news! We should have all listened to Heber as she kept telling us that she was having a baby sister!

SNOW DAY

This morning the bus was about 25 minutes late picking up the kids because of all the snow we got through the night! Right then we should have known they would cancel school. Before 9:00 Riley had called me and let me know they would be getting out of school around 12:30 because of all the snow. Then Anika's teacher called making sure someone would be at the house when they got home. Boy was I glad that Clint had the day off. The roads were so bad that even though Roosevelt only got a skiff of snow, they had the road closed between Roosevelt and Vernal! Needless to say it was a quiet day at work! I cannot remember ever having a snow day when we were in school! LUCKY KIDS! Oh did I forget to mention that my kids got to come home and shovel snow? Haha! Maybe they wanted to stay at school?!?!?

Today is Clint's 29th birthday!

I wanted to share 29 things about my DH!

1. He is such a trivia buff. He says he has a wealth of useless information!
2. Once he embarrassed me soo bad in Casa Rios!
3. He likes to play card games with friends.
4. He loves to tease all kids, and sometimes doesn't know when to stop!
5. Would love to own and restore a kick ass old car!
6. His first vehicle was a Chevy Luv and he would like one of those too!
7. Has worked in a youth rehab! Quite an interesting job!
8. He is an AWESOME Dad.
9. He put his parents through HELL growing up! And yes they do still love him!
10. He has 2 sisters. I love this as I have no siblings...
11. He would drop ANYTHING for a friend! And has many a time!
12. Has a motorcycle he never rides!
13. Secretly dreams of being metro sexual. Just don't ask ok?? HAHA!
14. Has a boat load of tools and no idea how to use most of them!
15. Is a huge flirt. Especially with Jacque! LOL
16. Owns an old red truck that he doesn't drive. It hasn't moved since we moved into this house!
17. Once set fire to a hillside on his sisters birthday.
18. Has been arrested...just once though.
19. He has a metal detector that he loves...

20.He loves to camp and be outdoors.
21. He has such a relationship with his Mom, I can only hope that my son has that kind of relatonship with me when he gets older!

24. He was a total surprise... his mom went in for surgery and SURPRISE there was Clint!

28. He once had 3 jobs at the same time.
29. He used to work at a movie theater with a balcony and he thought it was cool to take girls up there and "mack" on them!
What a clown my husband is but I am so thankful for him. He is a wonderful provider and he is always doing thoughtful things for us.

Life in general

So a little bit about our lives lately! We have had the flu, are selling girl scout cookies, and general craziness... am so proud of Anika and all of her selling efforts. She is all excited to go sell and I usually have to reign her in at the end of the day! What a girl!
My friend Jamie D. came over and helped me hang up a bunch of stuff in the living rooms and in the kitchen. It was nice to have someone else's opinions and ideas. She was such a help! THANKS JAMIE!
Clint got hired with anadarko permanently a couple of months ago and he got his NEW truck the first part of January! It has been getting tooled up and decked out and he is so excited to start driving it every day! I will post pictures of it soon! I wish I had one without all the tools... SOME DAY!
I am doing okay with the pregnancy and we have an ultrasound coming up to let us know if the baby is a prince or princess. WE will take whatever God has planned but we would really really like a little boy!
Heber has been having some problems sleeping lately and we have been struggling with all the things hat come with! UGGGHH! I am so thankful I have a wonderful husband who will get up in the night ad put her back to bed!
Riley turns 11 at the end of the month and I can't believe it. I am getting so old! HAHA!

Anika is so excited that it is girl scout cookie time! They had a huge cookie party last night up at the Rod and Guin club and got all the girls stoked to sell all they can this year! I confess, I am a little worried about asking people to spend money on cookies after our economy woes. I am hoping that will not discourage ANika nd I will be able to explain it so that she will understand. Anyways, if you wnt some of the delicious cookies, you know how to get a hold of us!

New Year

I hope everyone had a very safe and happy new years eve. I know we did. We went out to dinner with Amanda and Ryan and their kids and then came home for a uneventful night. We mostly just sat here and played games and visited. Then we watched the ball drop on TV and then went to bed. We woke up to 2009 and so far it has been great! Here's to a great 2009!

We all went up to Grandma Lou's house on Christmas Eve. It was fun. We played games which the girls won of course! We also sang some songs on the player piano and had a small breakdown because we missed our grandpa so much, and opened some presents. All in all it was a great time...

came over to visit for few minutes tonight and as some of you may know, we had a bunch of snow and I am so strict about the snow in MY driveway. Well, Mandy didn't know and she pulled into the second class citizen driveway (KIDDING). It is just where Clint parks his work trucks, and I use the other driveway because it leads to the garage! So naturally I like all of the snow on MY side cleared. My dear sweet husband knows this and works very hard to keep it clean. Tonight it looks so awesome! Anyway, my dear friend Mandy got a little stuck in her cute PT cruiser tonight and I thought I would share some pictures. Clint was so mad though because when we went to push her out, I had to run back inside and grab the camera. It was kind of funny though because Mandy and I were laughing! WE did get her out after pushing her back into the driveway and then she just gunned it out of the drive! Hopefully she made it home safely!

Movie Day

So today Carm and I decided that since Dad and Clint had to work, we would take the kids to the show. Riley and I had already read the book and Anika is reading it now in her class. First we decided to go to lunch at JB's and boy was that a mistake. Riley was throwing one of his sulking fits in the parking lot so we all loaded back into the car and headed home only to have him promise to be good, so we did go in and eat. Of course Heber wouldn't sit still , but we finally finished and headed to the theater... Last time we went to a movie was Thanksgiving night to see Madagascar 2 and the kids all did really well. Heber even loved it and sat through all but about 5 minutes of it, so today we thought would go well. OH boy were we wrong. Heber kept getting up and down, and throwing fits, so we had to keep going for walks and in the very middle of the movie she pooped her pants. Oh yeah fun, so into the bathroom we headed! Man I love having a 2 year old. Finally after about an hour and a half of walking around with her, she finally fella sleep on my mom's lap! Thank goodness. The only drawback was that the movie ended about 10 minutes later! Oh well, I guess I can wait for it to come out on video to see the whole thing, the book was better than what I saw anyways!

My new village...

Today my kids went with my parents to finish up some shopping and look what they got me! I have wanted to start a village but just never had the space for one. So this year that is what the kids gave me for Christmas. I was so excited, I hurried and put it up. I will post more pics tonight when you can see all the lights. Each one of the kids got to pick out a building and they each picked out way cool ones. Riley got me the cinema, Anika picked the beauty shop, Brashae the one with the train, and Heber picked the fire station. Carm has a beautiful village and I hope that one day mine looks as good as hers does. I hope we can keep that darn cat out of it too!

Christmas with Grandpa

Today my stepdad came down from WY to have an early Christmas with us. The kids sure enjoyed their presents they got. We went in with my Dad to get Riley a new IPOD and boy does he love it. Anika got a Jungle in my Pocket playset, Heber got a Baby Chou Chou doll, and Brashae got a Barbie cash register. All in all we had a great time.

Today Clint and Riley went to finish up their Christmas shopping, but came home empty handed. Clint then asked me to go run a couple of errands with him and so we left the kids with my Dad who is here from WY to visit. we were headed to the pet store to buy turtle food and Clint was tellign me about what Riley wanted. Apparently they had already been to the pet store trying to find someone who had yorkies for a CHristmas suprprise for me. Anyway, while there RIley had absolutely fallen in love with this dwarf hampster adn begged and pleaded to bring him home. Well who can say no to a cute little hampster? We already had an aquarium that he could live in, so all we had to buy were the necessitites like a wheel, shavings for the bottom of the cage, etc...

Well they used to be until last week they broke... I was at work and the strap broke and I almost cried. I have had this same pair of flip flops for 3 summers now and I am heartbroken... I am trying to win a contest on momdot, so I hope this sad pathetic pair of shoes helps. I knew there was a reason I couldn't throw them away!Notice the chunks tore out of them in the toes where Heber got a hold of them when she was teething...

A few years ago my father in law made me the coolest thing ever. It is a huge 4ft by 4 ft snowflake that you out in your yard. He makes them and sells them and they are so cool! I asked for one but didn't expect it for a couple of years and then once I got it, I never put it up! What a great daughter-in-law huh? WEll this year is the year for it and so tonight I put the lights on and Clint will get it all set up in our yard tomorrow!

Don't make fun of my jammies... they are comfy!

Ok Ok I know I have been incognito for umm like forever... I am so sorry! I know it is bad when people leave me comment son the last post I did asking about where I am...So here is a small synopsis of what I have been doing...
1. Work
2. Being sick (everyone in my family has had it and passed it back around)
3. being tired and lazy because of the pregnancy
4. Selling scentsy like crazy, I had parties and book parties galore during November!

Yeah that's it! Isn't that sad?? Oh yeah I also have been stressing about money and where Christmas is supposed to come from this year! Who doesn't do that? So now that we are into December and the Christmas songs abound, I need to get more into the spirit. Clint and I bought our Christmas present and it is a beauty. we got a new TV that is a 42 inch flat screen. Then my parents bought us the cabinet to go under it for our present too! So we won't have much under the tree but it is well worth it. I have included a picture of the tv so you can all see how enthralled Heber is with huge spongebob! She loves him and I am so over him. Ha ha! Anyways, yes we are pregnant and this is the very last one so we are hoping very much for a boy! I have been pretty sick off and on so we are taking that as a good sign! Keep your fingers crossed for us! I will post more later, as for now I had better go!
